Guild Homes Welcomes Geoffrey to the Family.

Guild Homes are so excited to welcome Geoffrey to the family as the newest member of our Sales team.

We asked Geoffrey to write a bit about himself and how he was finding his new job. Here is what he wrote:

“Now where do I start, I guess my name would be good. I am Geoffrey Barham, I am 71 this year and have several passions in my life. My main hobby is photography, and I have been taking pictures since the age of 14 winning several competitions taking me as far as Cuba, India, and several trips to Paris. I do have a website for anyone that may want to look, it is www.theimageseeker.com . I hope you enjoy my images.

My other passions are my collection of bright shirts and my enjoyment of cakes, as you can see from the picture. You would be surprised where I have to hide any shirts I buy, from my wife Glenda. I buy them mainly from a great store in Ledbury called Vintage Tramp (second hand of course). I try to keep fit and cycle whenever I have the time.

I have been involved in retail most of my life, and I am a firm believer in treating people as you wish to be treated yourself and only selling customers what they need. If you over sell or mislead a customer you will only sell to them once.

I am now in my second month at Guild Homes and I cannot explain how happy I am to be part of the company. The quality of houses and the customer care are the things I have held close since starting my selling career all those years ago, in today’s world of selling no matter what the product.

I look forward to meeting everyone involved in the company in the near future.

At the age of 71, I guess this will be my final position within my long working career. I could not have wished to end it with such a wonderful and interesting job, I hope it continues for a long time.”

Geoffrey will be manning our Sales Office at our Spring Meadows Development on Saturdays and Sundays from 10am till 4pm. Pop in and say hi.
